Last night, Todd took Scout to the vet and had him euthanized. As you can see in the pictures, he was a horrible shade of yellow, which meant his liver was failing. He was starting to act confused, had stopped eating, was throwing up every day and having accidents. We let the kids say goodbye. Norrin, being almost 5, said the sweetest things that just made me want to cry. He said, "Goodbye, Scout. I'll see you in my heart". Simply and beautifully said, Norrin Radd.
Really, its a miracle he lived as long as he did with these two enthusiastic cat cuddlers.
Goodbye, you stinky old cat. Believe it or not, I really miss you.
