How We Spent Our Summer Vacation

Ocean City, Maryland for 12 days!!! Lots of family, lots of sand and a strong desire to never, ever leave :).

Every day Norrin played in the sand.

Look out, Pop Pop!

Fly, baby, fly!

On the way to the beach...again.

Flooding from one of the hurricanes...but no rain.

Norrin was a little concerned by the giant waves.

Much too violent for swimming.

However, it resulted in a great lil "baby pool" for Norrin, Da and Grandmom to play in.

So much fun.

And now he must rest.

One of many evenings on the beach.

The lil drop off carved by the flooding...Norrin loved jumping off it.

Burying Ma's toes.

Looking for sea creatures off Assateague Island.

Ma showing Norrin the underside of a horseshoe crab...

And Norrin hiding behind Ma...he was not a big fan of the horseshoe crab.

Ma trying to wrangle her lil man away from the big kids to more age appropriate fun.

Ready, Set....

GO!!!

Ma on the beach.

Da on the beach.

Life is like a box of chocolates :).

What a wonderful looking vacation! The picture of your son flying off the side of the couch is priceless. Glad that you all had a good time

OK, for some strange reason, I did not catch where you guys had gone for your vacation. I spent the first 12 years of my life in OC, Maryland, and my brother lives on the Eastern Shore, so we still go back often.

Oh my, I loved it there. That is where I learned to swim in an ocean, dive under waves (they seemed so big when I was there), and spent 100's of hours with my cousins and siblings in the sand.

Love that place :)

Yeah, I am seriously about to sell the house in Philly and move there :). Norrin absolutely thrived and I just love the area. Since I'm originally from upstate NY, I never thought I'd love a shore town, but they have the beach, farmer's markets, yoga classes...now all I need to find is a good craft store :).
